Sharing

Saturday night I was on the subway going home about 11:30pm (or so) and I sat across from this scene:

At first it was just the 2 young guys….sitting about a foot or two apart, tethered to each other by a pair of earphones.  They were sharing their music, but not their personal space.  I found it funny…because at first glance it appeared they weren’t even with each other they were so far apart…and it was only when I noticed the presence of the black wire between their heads that I knew they were linked.

I tried to sneak a picture with my phone – but the Ghost of Jacob Marley came and sat next to them forcing them to close the gap.

I love New York.
